This is posted here because a large amount of the people on this forum appear to play RPG games like D&D and a lerge number of you have TS (I hate D&D by e-mail, typing isn't my strongsuit). Post if your interested and I will PM you more information in a day or 2. You must be fluent in English (either British or american).

I am thinking about starting an online D&D group for 6-8 people (Total). I know 1 or 2 people who would join IRL thats why the number of people I need will vary. To join you must have TS and a michrophone. (I will have a server by the time we start). Expect to play 1-2 days a week for 1-3 hours a time (Starting at about 8-9 PM GMT -5 or EST on friday or saturday nights). It's fine if you need to miss a night or 2 everyonce in a while but no skipping like every other time. I have the following books to ue: Core 3.5 books (Monster Manual, DM Guide, Players Handbook) the Expanded Psionics Handbook, Oreintal Adventure, Manual of the Planes, and access to a few other support books (forget which a RL neighbor has them). Expect a game were pretty much anything that the rules support is allowed no matter how much it annoys and/or inconviences me (Though I might make different enviroments to stop something I don't like or add something to stop it, no being really cheap).

EDIT: Rolling will be handled by me (on computer random die roller and/or RL die). If my rolls arn't trusted ...well...screw you

. I suppose that I could use one of the online die rollers I found that forwards all rolls to up to 10 e-mail adresses but this causes problems with hidden rolls.

Oh and I forgot to add that in my campaigns you will get through the first 7 levels very quickly but after level 14-15 it starts becoming a LOT slower. The campaigns are basically for level 7-14 chars. (High enough that I have some monster choices and you have some recourses and good skells/powers items but low enough that you can't PWN everything and a Pit Fiend has to be a standard encounter. This range also makes fighting a bunch of lower level characters still a challenge but something doable. E.X. 50 Orcs at once for 2 lvl 15 Psions. (Beleive me it is very fun)

Not real sure what your referring to (Prolly past DM's who were bad is all I can come up with) but I just came up with the idea when I realized that there arn't enough people in my area to play with and I hate doing the E-Mail thing (1 round takes a week).

I played RPGA exclusively for quite a while, which made me vulnerable to exactly that kind of DM.

A dedicated home game is a lot less likely to be based on that sort of egotistical trip, I would hope... or it won't last terribly long.

bah v3.5 lets get a game of first.. I dont like the you roll everyones with your program say if we have a webcam can we use that to roll our own dice...?

As for rolling the dice I said either real dice or a program. I usally olny use the program for d100's anyways, But I don't have a webcam and don't really feal like buying one so that part won't happen.

I know but no matter how good a game is you are still restricted by the programming of the game and the processing power of the computer. Even when I was playing NWN I would reguarly come up with stuff to do that the GM agreed were allowed by the rules but the program simple couldn't handle what I was trying to do.
